Fees

Clear pricing. No surprises.

Harborlight Psychiatric is a private pay practice. Below is a full breakdown of fees by service, along with our payment and cancellation policies; so you know exactly what to expect before you schedule.

Harborlight Psychiatric is a private pay, cash-based practice

Harborlight Psychiatric is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, verify benefits, or accept Medicare or Medicaid. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your appointment, with the remaining balance charged on the day of the visit. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. For eligible services, a superbill may be available upon request for you to submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement is not guaranteed, and a superbill may not be available if the clinician participates with your specific insurance plan through another arrangement.

Why patients choose Harborlight

01

Time to actually talk

60–120 minute initial evaluations.

02

A practice focus on ADHD and women's mental health

Care built around the patterns that get missed in a quick med check.

03

One clinician, consistent care

Your evaluation and ongoing medication management stay with the same provider.

04

Thoughtful prescribing

Medication when appropriate, not automatically.

05

Private pay, structured around your care

Appointments are built around the time and depth your care requires, not insurance-defined visit lengths.

Fees by service

The Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation and Hormonal Mood & PMDD Evaluation are each billed as a single bundled fee covering all required sessions. Deprescribing is billed using our standard evaluation and follow-up rates below. There is no separate deprescribing fee.

Payment policy

Hand holding a credit card near a laptop, representing secure card-on-file payment for psychiatric care

A valid card is kept securely on file for all patients. A 25% deposit is charged at the time of booking to hold your appointment. The remaining balance is charged on the day of your visit. If the balance charge fails, one additional attempt will be made — if that also fails, the appointment will be canceled.

  • A card on file is required to book any appointment
  • A 25% deposit is charged at booking; the remaining balance is charged on the day of the visit
  • Exception: QbCheck purchased as a standalone add-on or repeat assessment is charged in full at the time of booking
  • If the balance charge fails, one retry will be made — if that also fails, the appointment will be canceled
  • You will receive a receipt for each charge for your records
  • HSA and FSA cards are accepted for all services
  • For eligible services, a superbill may be available upon request for submission to your insurance company. Harborlight does not verify out-of-network benefits, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. A superbill may not be available if the clinician participates with your specific insurance plan through another arrangement.

Cancellation policy

Late cancellation & no-show policy

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed entirely, are subject to a cancellation/no-show fee of up to 100% of the service cost. Your 25% deposit is applied toward this fee.

If you cancel or reschedule with proper notice, your deposit will carry forward and be applied to a future appointment scheduled within 30 days. If a new appointment is not scheduled within that 30-day window, your deposit will be refunded.

All intake paperwork must also be completed and submitted at least 48 hours before your appointment. If this deadline is not met, the appointment will be canceled, and your deposit will be held for 30 days as if proper cancellation notice had been given, per the terms above.
